Similar to my last week’s post, I will include activities for sunshine and rain from our trip to Berlin, Germany. Let’s start with the sunshine :-).
Guerilla and Urban Gardening is big almost everywhere, also so in Berlin. Prinzesinnengarten at Moritzplatz is a great place to go with kids – lots of plants, a nice café (open midday to late night) and a relaxed atmosphere. What more could one want?
Just on the other side of Moritzplatz you’ll find Schöner wär’s wenn’s schöner wär (it would be nicer if it would be nicer – or so), a shop focusing on fair trade and eco-friendly furniture, accessories, toys and stationary. If you can’t resist “I want this or that or this is cool”, then it’s better to avoid it ;-).
And now the rainy day activity: there are lots of museums in Berlin and the Machmitmuseum provides lots of activities for children. Topics of the changing exhibition can vary, so it’s good to check their website to see if it’s of interest for your kid.
Don’t forget, you can still participate in the give away of a Crumpled City Junior Berlin Map until tomorrow!
